Jackson's Dedication

We drove home to Tennessee Friday and Saturday (which is a whole other blog post in and of itself- I think I could write a book on traveling with an infant). We were excited to get to go to the Harris Family Reunion on Saturday though I entirely forgot to take pictures. Today we got to dedicate Jackson at our home church which was so special to us. Here are some pictures from today:



Today was also very exciting because Jackson rolled over for the first time today from tummy to back! My mom, brother, sister, grandfather, Del and I all got to witness it which was so exciting :) Here is a picture from immediately after when I put him back on his belly to see if he would do it again...he didn't, he just got mad.

Today was the first warm day since last fall- 80's and humid (for real...not Minnesota humid). So we opened all the windows and let our little boy do what he likes best...be naked!

3 Months!

Our little boy turned 3 months old today!

3 month stats:

• Weight: ~16 lbs (per home scale)
• Height: 24 inches

New tricks:

• Holds his hands together
• Can identify mommy and daddy from at least 2 feet away
• Smiles easily and giggles every once in awhile
• Holds head and chest up when on tummy
• Loves his swing!
• Expert traveler- has been to 9 states (NC, TN, MN, WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, CO) and on 10 airplanes
• Has a temper (like Daddy!)

Spring so far

J loves his mobile! He is not sleeping in his crib yet (I'm not ready so he's still in the pack n play in our room) but we have put him in it. He will lie and look at the mobile (on or off) for quite awhile- it's super helpful when we're making dinner or cleaning up.

He also really likes being naked...you can see how happy he is :)

Last weekend we drove to Cincinnati for a fellowship interview and J got to meet Anju, a friend from medical school who was also in our wedding.

I had to go back to work this week and, through a series of unfortunate scheduling, Del also was occupied all day. Luckily our friend Sarah agreed to watch him out of the goodness of her heart. Poor girl! She has a 7 month old and so she was pretty busy but somehow she was able to pull out the camera and take some cute shots of my little man!

Look at that smile! Already a flirt ;)
