J's first trip to Disney!

The AAP national meeting was in Orlando this past weekend and so I took the opportunity to bring J and Aunt Rachael with me.  J had never been to Disney World but LOVES all things Disney, especially Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Jake and the Neverland Pirates.  I've never been to WDW without Rachael and so, of course, she had to be there too!  The meeting was great and Rachael was such a help to me by watching J while I was busy.  Luckily,  J's BFF A was there too with her parents and so that provided a pretty good level of distraction :)  They were adorable meeting Mickey together and riding rides.  They kept each other pretty distracted in line too which was very helpful!

Tennessee Trip

A few pictures from our trip back to Tennessee in September.  We had a wonderful time.  Jackson got completely spoiled with grandmothers, a trip to the zoo, early birthday and Christmas presents.  We also got to celebrate my mom's birthday as a whole family at Aunt Rachael's beautiful home.  It was just a great trip all the way around!

I have misplaced my card reader for my camera card sometime in the last month or so and finally gave in tonight and bought a new one.  I typically operate off of a three week search for lost items- typically I lose something and sometime within the next two weeks I find it.  This has worked for a variety of things including books, jewelry, favorite toys of J's....until now.

So anyhow, now I have a new one and now I can upload all sorts of pictures that had been lacking over the last few months.  First up- the gender reveal party we had for our friends September.  I didn't go too over the top (i.e. no games) but we did have people wear ribbons matching the gender of what they guessed I was having and had a gender reveal cake, filled with appropriately colored candy.  By far, most people guessed boy!

But we are having a GIRL!
